Social Responsability

WE BELIEVE IN GOOD PRACTICES THAT CONTRIBUTE TO A BETTER SOCIETY,
IN JOINT EFFORTS TO MEET PRAISEWORTHY OBJECTIVES.

At Rumos Group, we have been trying to develop a project of social responsibility, based upon the actions we historically developed.

Examples of some projects we took part in:

  • IN THE LAST DECADE, WE HAVE BEEN DEVELOPING, TOGETHER WITH AEIPS (ASSOCIATION FOR PSYCHOSOCIAL INTEGRATION AND STUDY) TRAINING PLANS TO PROMOTE SOCIAL AND PROFESSIONAL REINTEGRATION OF PEOPLE WITH PSYCHOLOGICAL CONDITIONS.
  • THANKS TO THE EUROPEAN PROJECT THINK (TOWARDS HANDICAP INTEGRATION NEGOTIATING KNOWLEDGE), WE COOPERATED WITH THE PROFESSIONAL INTEGRATION OF PEOPLE WITH MOTOR DISABILITY, IN TELEWORKING, BY PROVIDING TRAINING IN TECHNOLOGICAL COMPONENTS.
  • IN PARTNERSHIP WITH CAIS ASSOCIATION, WE PROVIDED TRAINING IN INTERNET AND OFFICE, TO A TARGET AUDIENCE OF INSTITUTIONALIZED CHILDREN AND TEENAGERS, TEENAGE MOTHERS AND HOMELESS PEOPLE, IN VOLUNTARY WELFARE ORGANIZATIONS IN LISBON AND OPORTO.
  • WE TOOK PART IN THE PROJECT OF REBUILDING AND DEVELOPING EAST TIMOR, PROVIDING TECHNICAL AND EDUCATIONAL TRAINING TO THE FIRST TIMORESE TRAINERS.

We paid special attention to everything related to our employees, our community of students and trainees and local communities of the cities we operate in.
Some examples:

  • RELEASE OF A CHILDREN'S BOOK WITH ORIGINAL STORIES OF STUDENTS, PARENTS, TEACHERS AND WRITERS. ALL REVENUE WENT TO THE PORTUGUESE ONCOLOGY INSTITUTE OF OPORTO.
  • ORGANIZATION OF A CHRISTMAS SOIRÉE TO HELP ACREDITAR ASSOCIATION BUILDING
    A CENTER IN OPORTO.
  • NATIONAL MEETING OF THE TEACHING COMMUNITY FOR RUMOS GROUP, WITH A DONATION FOR A FIRE DEPARTMENT IN OPORTO.
  • SPONTANEOUS PARTICIPATION OF OUR STUDENTS FROM PROFESSIONAL SCHOOLS IN THE LOGISTICS FOR VARIOUS CHARITY EVENTS.

We also had the honor to participated in other projects.

And through Rumos Association we have provided scholarship, so that the lack of financial capability is not an obstacle to access professional training.
